Training & Competition Uniform Requirements

 

Foundation Levels & Recreational Programs

 

Starbursts, Sparkles, Supernovas & Starlets/Twirlers

 

For Foundation Levels and Recreational gymnasts, training uniforms are recommended but not compulsory. It is recommended that these gymnasts wear a T-shirt with leggings or shorts. The following optional items are also available:

 

Club Polar Fleece Jacket

 

Training Leotards/Crop tops

 

Club Leotard

 

Boys Discovery, Apollo & Challenger

 

Gymnasts in the Boys Foundation program will be participating in the Hobart PCYC Eclipse Competitions, and as such, will not be required to wear club uniform for these events. It is recommended that gymnasts wear the following for training:

 

T-shirt and Shorts (with no buttons/zippers)

 

 

Parent volunteers from Hobart PCYC regularly hold Second Hand Uniform Sales days, where good quality second hand items can be purchased. Keep an eye out on our Facebook pages:Hobart PCYC Gymnastics Club (Official) and Hobart PCYC Gymnastics - Buy/Sell/Swap

 

There is also the option of buying new leotards from Lisa Sherrin at Mercury Leotards, she is based at Hobart PCYC and can be contacted by email to organise a time mercury.leotards@yahoo.com.au Go to the Mercury Leotards Facebook page or click here to see some of the range available.

 

Some recreational children do compete in competitions. When, and if they do, they are expected to wear a competition leotard and tracksuit which can be purchased by filling out the Uniform Order Form. For uniform clothing and equipment information specific to your child, please consult with your coordinator.

 

Competitive Programs

 

Competitive gymnasts are required to wear club uniform to team competitions. Uniform items can be purchased through our Uniform Order Form. Follow the Navigation pane above for more information about each respective Gymsport in our Competitive Programs.
